What we collect on the public site

• Server access logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp. Retained 30 days. Used for security and rate limiting.
• Aggregated, anonymous usage — page views via a privacy-preserving analytics tool (no third-party cookies, no cross-site tracking).
• No personal data from calculator inputs. Calculations happen in your browser; values are not sent to our servers.

What the LandlordIQ API collects

• IP address (for free-tier rate limiting).
• API key fingerprint (if you have one, for paid-tier accounting).
• Query parameters and timestamp. Retained 90 days for support and abuse prevention.
• We do not enrich, sell, or share API logs.

Cookies & tracking

No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking pixels. Should we add a Pro account system, we will use a single first-party session cookie strictly for authentication.

Data we don't have

We don't have your property address, your tenants, your bank account, or your portfolio unless you explicitly opt into a Pro feature that requires it. Free-tier usage requires nothing.

Your rights

Email privacy@rentalanalytics.com to request deletion of any logs that include your IP or API key. We comply with CCPA and GDPR data-subject requests within 30 days.

If anything in this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and note the change in the footer of the homepage.
